The Company has started its activity in 1984 in a humble workshop devoted to produce furniture and handicraft pieces according to specific own designs.
During the 90s of the 20 th century, the primeval cabinetmaker´s´ workshop was turning little by little into an industry. That singular and small in embryo industry, started to undergone a metamorphosis in several steps from which new production centres have been built up. Those new factories were gradually adding different specialities and trades, which are complementary of the main activity. That way, the Company begun to manufacturing not only custom made furniture; but also could offer to its clients the complete carrying out of projects until a full turn-key service is attained.
Following the natural selection policy, every Enterprise is always searching new ways to improve and enlarge its scope, the key factor of innovation has always play, and still it does, a crucial role which determines the inclusion of new materials, state-of-the-art technologies, means of production and development of new manufacturing skills, installation techniques through a full management system. So, this way has been shaped two of the main essential characteristics of our Company: flexibility and versatility.
Nowadays, Industrias Cándido Hermida has clients not only in Spain; but also overseas. The daily work of the Company lead us to do a wide range of projects all over the world, giving every time the same care and fondest hope; since the very first day by means of searching for excellence in our work, the painstaking caring for tiny details and keeping a devoted attention to our clients, this principle remain intact , which is acting the part of the Company identity as a distinguishing feature and a guarantee hallmark.
